The Truth of a Young European (feat. Jayda Khimji)

Why we love it — This episode is our first ever one-on-one interview on the podcast. Jayda Khimji is a friend Izzy made at an Oxford summer program in 2019 and is someone who has lived a unique teenage life. From attending boarding school in England during the year, to traveling and living in both Switzerland and Oman, Jayda shared what it was like to be a teen who has had distinctive experiences. The differences in education between the UK and the US were also compared in this episode, which many Americans don’t know much about. The quality and depth of her answers most definitely made this episode a standout.

In Episode 6, we brought in European Jayda Khimji to talk about her international experiences, the strenuous UK schooling system compared to the US, what it's like to live in three different countries, and some common yet funny misconceptions about Americans.

A special thanks to Jayda Khimji for her valuable insight.
